Translation:
Symptoms and Remedy of Sunstroke
Symptoms
- Feeling weak
- Headache, body ache and nausea
- Dry throat
- Temporary blindness
- Sudden rise of body temperature
- Rising of breathing sped may lead to faint/unconsciousness
First Aid
- Remove all dresses from the body or make it loose
- Sponge with wet cloth again and again or bathe and keep the patient in a well ventilated place.
- Give plenty of lemon water, water with salt, rice-water, green coconut and ORS to the patient
- Keep ice or cold water on patient’s head
- If you observe no improvement in the condition then transfer the patient to the nearest hospital immediately.
Remedy
- Avoid noon time work and do the same work during morning or evening.
- Take plenty of food and water before leaving the house.
- Always use hat or net clothes while walking at the day time.
- Use umbrella, hat, stole, head covers, towel and black glasses while going outside
- Be more careful with pregnant women, children, aged person, diabetic patient, overweight person, blood pressure patients and epileptic patients.
- Don’t give water on mouth of a unconscious patient.
- Use cotton clothes
- Avoid intake of liquor and other similar drinks
- Take food as per your need
