Preparation before disaster

• Water-cleansing material
• Cooking materials
• First Aid equipments
• Life-saving equipments
• Food

Post-disaster First Aid

• Trauma caused to a patient due to disaster
• Use hard stretcher for those patients whose spinal code is fractured
• Keep the patient on hard stretcher if his/her leg is broken.
• Snake bite – Clean the wounded part of the body and keep the patient straight
• Press fifteen times on the chest and try for artificial breathing for asphyxiating patient. Keep clothes on mouth to give artificial breathing.
