The Supreme Court reached a historical judgement by providing guidelines for the prevention of harassment of women at workplaces. In this judgement, the Supreme Court took account of CEDAW\u2019s Article 11 and 24 which consider harassment as a form of violence against gender equality at workplaces. The Supreme Court recognises and acknowledges this.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Women\u2019s conditions at home and in the public sphere are constantly arduous and uncertain. On one side a woman is a victim of violence and abuse, and on the other, her work is constantly condemned and criticised even though her share of labour generates income.<\/p>\n
