Monisha Behal

In a quest to study the status of women in Northeast India Monisha Behal, 60, engaged in research which brought her to the realization that women’s collective action is the most effective strategy for their development. With this she sensitized women’s organizations to add value to their social issues and agricultural work with a rights’ perspective.
