Junu Bora

JUNU BORA is a renowned feminist writer and activist of Assam. She is editor of Jonaki Baat, a progressive women’s quarterly which was launched more than three decades ago. She is vocal on women issues, writes many articles on gender and socio-political issues and has published two popular books Lingya Baishyma (gender discrimination) and Shringkhal Singaar Ahbaan (call to break the shackles).
